Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-11-05

This policy explains how NomadCheck ("we") handles your personal information. You can use the site without an account. We only handle the information below if you sign in with Google or sign up for change alerts.

1. Information we collect and why

Category What we collect Why
Google sign-in Google account ID, email address, name, profile picture To identify you and keep you signed in
Change alerts Email address, countries you pick, sign-up date To send requirement-change alerts and show your sign-ups
Collected automatically IP address, browser details, access logs To run and secure the site and fix errors

The income you enter in search is calculated in your browser and is not sent to our servers. It does appear in the search URL, so it may show up in access logs or analytics tools, and anyone you share that URL with can see it.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, passport numbers, or payment information.

2. How long we keep it

  • Account and alert information: until you ask us to delete it or the service ends
  • Access logs: for the period set by our hosting and analytics providers

The site does not have a self-service delete option yet, so please contact us using section 11.

3. Sale and sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We disclose it only to the service providers listed below, when the law requires it, or with your consent.

4. Service providers

Provider What they do Information
Google LLC Google sign-in; analytics, if enabled Account information, access logs, cookie data
Cloudflare, Inc. Website hosting IP address, access logs

Account and alert information is stored on a server we run ourselves (flexapi.history-who.com), and we send alert emails ourselves.

5. Cookies and browser storage

  • We store a sign-in token in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. Signing out removes it.
  • The Google sign-in script loads with each page, so Google may receive access information even if you don't sign in.
  • If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies.

You can block cookies in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage signs you out.

The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information and to get a copy of it. To make a request, contact us using section 11. We will verify your request and will not discriminate against you for making it. You may use an authorized agent, and if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

7. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We encrypt traffic with HTTPS and limit what we collect to the items above. No internet service is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Emails

We only send alerts when requirements change for countries you picked, and we don't send ads. To stop receiving them, contact us using section 11.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
